Return Policy

At Michael & Claire Vancouver, we care deeply about customer satisfaction and the quality of every piece we offer.
If your item is not quite what you expected, you may be eligible to return it under the conditions below.


1. Eligibility for Returns

To qualify for a return:

  • You may only request a return after you have physically received the item.

  • Your return request must be submitted within 30 days of delivery.

  • Return shipping costs are entirely the responsibility of the customer, including any international shipping or customs fees.

  • Items must be:

    • Unused and unworn

    • Unwashed

    • Undamaged

    • In original condition, with all tags, labels and packaging intact

You are welcome to try on the item to check the fit, but visible wear, damage, stains, odors or removed tags may result in your return being refused.

Please note: We are a curated boutique and not a try-at-home service. Excessive “bracketing” (ordering multiple sizes/large quantities with the intent to return most of them) may lead to refusal of future orders or returns at our discretion.


2. How to Request a Return

Please follow these steps to ensure a smooth return process:

  1. Email us at info@michaelclairevancouver.com within 30 days of receiving your order.

  2. Include your order number, full name, item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for return.

  3. Once your request is approved, we will provide you with the return address of our fulfillment partner (located outside Canada).

  4. Ship the item back at your own expense, using a reliable carrier.

  5. We strongly recommend using a track & trace shipping method and keeping your proof of shipment.

Returns sent without prior approval or to an incorrect address may not be processed.


3. Return Shipping & Responsibility

  • All return shipping costs, including any international postage, customs duties, taxes or handling fees, are paid by the customer.

  • We do not provide prepaid return labels at this time.

  • Any packages returned “cash on delivery” (C.O.D.) or with unpaid fees will be refused.


4. Refunds

Once your return has been delivered to our return address and inspected:

  • If the item meets our return conditions, we will process your refund within 30 days.

  • Refunds are issued via the original payment method only.

  • Shipping costs paid on the original order are non-refundable, unless the return is due to an error on our side (e.g. wrong item or confirmed defect).

If the item does not meet the conditions (used, damaged, missing tags, odor, etc.), we may:

  • Decline the refund, and/or

  • Offer a partial refund at our discretion.

In such cases, we will contact you with details.


5. Liability & Delivery Issues

  • If the tracking information states that a package has been successfully delivered to the address provided at checkout, Michael & Claire Vancouver cannot be held responsible for missing or stolen packages.

  • Providing an incorrect or incomplete address is the responsibility of the customer.

    • Please carefully check your details at checkout.

  • If you notice an error in your shipping address, contact us as soon as possible at info@michaelclairevancouver.com.

    • If your order has not yet been processed, we will do our best to adjust it.

    • We cannot guarantee changes once the order is dispatched.
